Remembering Katherine Johnson

I had the unique opportunity to commemorate the incredible life of Katherine Johnson by posting an article about what she meant to me in the Washington Post. I am extremely proud to wrap up Black History Month by commemorating the life of someone whose impact changed the face of STEM.

In this article I discuss what Katherine Johnson meant to me as a black woman in STEM. Because of the movie and the exquisitely authored book, I was able to learn invaluable lessons to apply to my own journey as a professional in the aerospace industry. I share these lessons in the articles.
